Service & DCC installations

We provide G scale repair and restoration as well as installation and sound upgrades. 
Labor charge for service is $85.00 an hour, excludes parts.

Typical repair time is within 5-10 business days based upon availability of parts. 

Please Note:  We repair other brands such as Bachmann or USA trains,

however, if the product is no longer produced, repairs may not be economically practical or possible.

DCC Installations

Each install is largely customized to the locomotive and customer specifications. 
our primary decoder of choice is Zimo, however we can install other brands of decoders, such as ESU and LGB. 

each install, the locomotive is fully serviced, replacing needed components such as Motors, pickup shoes etc. 

the original electronics are typically completely removed, while the model is rewired with fresh wires.  

each install, is supplied with documentation expalining the functions and a video is created

showing the operation along with a demo of the functions:
